Place of work: Brockwell Park, London
Hours: 10 hour shifts per day, breaks for meal times.
On Site Dates: 19th May - 13th June 2025 (some flex in start or finish date)
(Plus potential extra onsite work offered for w/c 23rd June 2025 - these dates are yet to be confirmed and this
extra work will be subject to the successful candidate’s availability.)
Rate of Pay: £125 per full day

About The Role
GMC Events are recruiting, a really exciting opportunity to join our core team in the site office delivering Brockwell Live and Lambeth Country Show 2025. Reporting into the Site Office manager, the role is entry / assistant level, and while training and guidance on individual projects will be provided, you will ideally have event industry experience in an administrative role.
Key Responsibilities
Whilst the role is based on-site, you will primarily be based within the Site Office.

Assisting the Site Office Manager with key administrative tasks as required.

Act as a first point of contact for persons coming into the office with information, queries etc, directing them to the appropriate person or department as required.

Producing basic documentation as required.

Manage printing and distribution of resources for the department as required.

Supporting the plant and boneyard manager with logging damages, labelling vehicles and signing out keys.

Take minutes at on-site meetings as required and circulate actions.

Take radio calls and log them in the site office log.

Manage ordering any supplies

Support the Site Office Manager to keep the site office organised and display key information.

Work closely with the operations office to ensure jobs lists are shared and accurate.

Manage the expenses tracker on-site.

Undertake general runner duties as required.

Experience of using computers in particular spreadsheets & google suite.

Event experience in a similar on-site role

Experience of working with multiple contractors and staff

Previous experience of using Eventree software

Previous experience of using Chronosoft software

Previous experience of using a radio
Role Specific Information
Travel to and from Site - GMC will cover travel expenses to and from site. Options to be discussed with the successful candidate.
Onsite Accommodation - accommodation will be provided. This will be in a Bunkabin, caravan or suitable tent. Options will be discussed with the successful candidate.
Meals Onsite - 3 meals per day will be provided on-site whilst working. This will be in crew catering or a buy out during early build / late de-rig. All dietary requirements catered for.
Physical Description of Work - This role is an on site work at our events, with desk work, and some physically active work, involving some moving and lifting, required in both settings. A number of our events take place on greenfield sites and the role requires someone to move around independently and extensively.
